Paratransit, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization currently contracting with Spokane Transit Authority to provide qualified individuals with one-on-one instruction to enable them to travel independently on the public transit system.

Now hiring for the following position:

Mobility Trainer

Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Mobility Trainer to provide one-on-one training and support services to eligible mobility training program participants in the safe and proper use of the Spokane area public transit system; to conduct accurate and timely program eligibility assessments and service orientations; and to inform community groups and organizations of program services and recruit program participants. The schedule is mostly Monday through Friday with varied hours.

The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Knowledge of the local transit system
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Planning and organizational skills
Ability to use computers
Knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, punctuation and spelling
Possession of a valid driver license
Possession of appropriate car insurance as designated by Paratransit, Inc.

Salary:

The salary is $11.03 per hour. This position includes a benefits package.
