Programmer/Analyst
Paratransit, Inc. is seeking a full time Programmer/Analyst to assist in the maintenance of our legacy applications and to assist in their migration to Web 2.0. The successful candidate must be familiar C++ and with creating, deploying and maintaining database driven web applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP). This job class requires the ability to work independently or as a member of team and handle a heavy workload assigned by several managers working under tight deadlines. Vehicle Operators
Paratransit, Inc., is now accepting applications for Vehicle Operators to operate Paratransit vehicles safely and efficiently in the door-to-door transport of passengers to scheduled sites; to assist passengers on and off assigned vehicle; to assure the safety of passengers while riding in assigned vehicles; and to maintain accurate records and logs of trip information as required. The schedules for this position vary between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., five or six days per week including weekends and holidays. Applications are accepted continuously as this position is an ongoing recruitment. A current K4 DMV printout must be submitted with your application.

If a job offer is made, pre-employment drug testing, fingerprint clearance, and post-job offer physical are required. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the above requirements, and the ability to provide the required documents to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
If hired, you will be required to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver License. The license application process must be started no later than the second week of employment and requires a $64.00 DMV fee. This fee is the responsibility of the Vehicle Operator. Paratransit, Inc. will provide training to obtain your Class B Commercial Driver License.

Vehicle Operators are eligible for medical and dental benefits on the first day of the next complete calendar month after being employed sixty days. After successful completion of five months probation, Vehicle Operators receive ten paid designated holidays per year and begin accruing paid vacation and paid sick leave. Paratransit, Inc. provides uniform shirts at no cost to the employee.
Vehicle Operators are required to join the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU).
