Welcome aboard: About Paratransit, Inc.
Our company mission is to expand mobility options by:
- Advocating for a fully accessible, useable, and integrated public transportation system.
- Providing innovative community transportation services.
2004 marked our 25th year of service to the Sacramento region. During these two and a half decades, we've been busy making mobility - everyone's freedom to get around and take care of important business. Since 1978, we've traveled together enough distance to go to the Moon 219 times (but only 110 times if you want to come back)!
Starting with just two vehicles, we now operate over 150. Our maintenance shop services vehicles for 40 other agencies in the region, and we use our earnings to provide more rides for you! We provide planning and services to 24 community partners, ranging from United Cerebral Palsy to Health For All to the Women's Civic Improvement Center.
